Chelsea Coach Frank Lampard has insisted that he will never quit from his job at the Premier League club, MySportDab reports.

Lampard took charge of Chelsea in the summer of 2019 after his time at Derby County.

The Blues Legend enjoyed a good first season in the Premier League but questions have started about Lampard’s potential this season.

Chelsea spent over €200 million in the last summer transfer window but most of the new signings are yet to impress.

Kai Havertz notable has not shown the quality most Chelsea fans expect from the former Bayern Leverkusen man.

There is now pressure on Frank Lampard to turn things around as owner Roman Abramovich is known for sacking managers at any time.

Lampard’s side have struggled to impress in games against the top six team this season.

However, Frank Lampard is confident in his players.

He said: “I am good with the pressure. If I can’t work with it I won’t have got back into this, or I would walk away when i had the chance, and that won’t ever happen.

“I am the first person to put pressure on myself. I do it all the time.

“I don’t mind it at all. That’s me. Maybe my wife can tell you how I react under pressure.”

Lampard added: “You can’t always be happy. I’m not as happy now unlike when we beat Leeds last month while on a 16 match unbeaten run.

“But it tells me that i have to focus more on the job. You learn to take defeats, and tough moments.

“You must now review more, look at yourself, look at everything, and I like that. That makes you a better coach and person.

“It’s a different type of pressure when you are a player, and that’s something I have handled since I stepped into football management. Because you take the pressure, and rightly so.”

Ahead of the next match, Chelsea have one major boost as £34m Star Hakim Ziyech will now come back into the team after his injury.
