Phil Foden first half goal was enough to hand Man City a win against Olympiakos and also book their ticket to the next round of the UEFA Champions League, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first 45 minutes of the game was the deal breaker as the Citizens managed to get a goal despite their poor display.

Olympiakos Man City

Olympiakos showed more intent going forward but lack the finishing touches to finish off from their chances created.

Man City broke the deadlock in the 36th minute when Phil Foden smashed home a killer to give his side the much needed 1-0 lead.

The match progressed without any more goals which a couple of chances came begging with no one able to finish off.

The first half ended Olympiakos 0-1 Man City as they both headed for the first half break with advantage Citizens.

Second Half Report

The second half was much evenly matched with both sides going head to head but no one was able to score.

Man City still carries on with their dominance but they lack that final touch which should have increased their lead going forward.

Olympiakos failed to register any shot on target as they were mostly pegged back in the match with Citizens doing everything.

The match ended with Olympiakos 0-1 Man City as Pep Guardiola side book their ticket to the next round of the competition.
