Arsenal Coach Mikel Arteta has a tough selection headache for the Premier League match against Leeds United, MySportDab reports.

Coach Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Thomas Partey will not be available for the match this weekend.

Partey had to be substituted at half-time in the last match 3-0 loss to Aston Villa.

He was treated for a thigh problem, which is why he did not play for Ghana during the international break.

But Partey has not recovered in time for Sunday’s match against Leeds United.

The 27-year-old signed for the Gunners on transfer deadline day after they paid his £45m release clause.

Since his move, Partey has integrated perfectly into Arsenal’s starting line-up.

However, Arsenal have lost three of the four Premier League matches in which Partey has played.

But, he was impressive in the 1-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Arteta now has to decide who would replace Partey in his Line-up this weekend.

Granit Xhaka is most likely to step in, but Partey isn’t the only Arsenal player unavailable this weekend.

Arsenal Players Unavailable Vs Leeds United

Pablo Mari

The defender has slowly resumed full training after a ligament damage against Manchester City last season.

There is no given time for his return but he would be available for selection very soon.

Gabriel Martinelli

The Brazilian wonderkid was expected to miss the remainder of 2020 after an injury at the end of last season.

But, Martinelli has impressed with his recovery and he’s expected to resume training in two weeks.

Sead Kolasinac

The left-back has now tested positive for coronavirus while playing for his country on international duty.

He is now self-isolating ahead of his return to training next week but can’t play against Leeds United.

Mohamed Elneny

Elneny also tested positive for COVID-19 again this week while playing with Egypt on international duty.

The 28-year-old is not showing any symptoms and is now isolating in Cairo before his return to London.
