Manchester United Striker Anthony Martial has now spoken about his red card against Tottenham recently, MySportDab reports.

The France international has missed the recent Premier League games against Chelsea, and Newcastle United.

However, he could play in the Champions League match against RB Leipzig on Wednesday night.

Manchester United were thrashed by Tottenham earlier this month, with Jose Mourinho securing a 6-1 win against his former club at Old Trafford.

The biggest talking point from the match was Martial’s red card in the first half.

Speaking after the match about the Red Card, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Nicely done by Anthony for not going down for that small nug and for not trying to make the referee show Lamela a red card.

“Martial knows he can’t react that way, but it’s a joke for me that a player can fall like that.

“If he was my son, he would survive on water and bread for two good weeks. That’s not how I want my players to act.”

However, Anthony Martial has now broken his silence about the red card.

“To be sincere, it does you good, especially when you’re discuss about big matches in the Champions League,” Marital told the clubs official website.

“That red card Vs Tottenham was my first and i have learned from it.

“But it will allow me to work harder in training to come back far better.

“I still haven’t scored a goal this season. But I know that, when I score one, everything will be good.

“So, it’s up to me to put in an effort in training and then show everybody the best from Anthony Martial.”

Anthony Martial scored an own-goal in his last match for Manchester United in the 2-1 win over PSG.
