Liverpool’s Premier League match against Arsenal on Monday night has been moved, MySportDab reports. 

The Match has been shifted backwards from 8.15pm kick off to 8pm due to the UK’s new lockdown measures.

The new Lockdown means in the UK ensures that bars are closed at 10pm, which means that fans would miss the final moments of the match.

But, According to MySportDab sources, the Premier League has agreed to move the Kick-off Time backwards and avoid the situation stated above.

The next late night Premier League matchs will also kick off no late than 8pm.

On Tuesday, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced in a live broadcast that bars, and restaurants in England must now close by 10pm from Thursday.

With Liverpool and Arsenal previously set at 8.15pm, Fans were unhappy with the decision announced yesterday.

But talks on Wednesday have provided good results and the Premier League has made a final decision.

Sky Sports, who will broadcast Fulham Vs Aston Villa at 6pm on Monday, also agreed to the new change.

On Tuesday, Football fans expressed their anger at the possibility of being kicked out of bars during the final minutes of the match.

A fan wrote: ‘Can’t wait to see Liverpool and Arsenal fans being kicked out of the pub on Monday when the match is not over.’

Another added: ‘because of the 10pm closure of bars, are you going to change the kick off times? We can’t leave with minutes to go’.
