Bayern Munich have discussed about signing Chelsea Youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi on loan until the end of the season, MySportDab reports.

Hudson-Odoi’s future at Chelsea is in doubt, after Frank Lampard spent £200million on improving his squad this summer window.

Hudson-Odoi was linked with a move to Bayern Münich in January 2019, due to his limited playing time under Maurizio Sarri.

Everything changed under Frank Lampard, who urged Hudson-Odoi to sign a contract deal last summer.

Speaking after he signed his new contract, Frank Lampard praised the young forward.

“I won’t make predictions but with his talent, he can be keh to this team, and England,” added Lampard.

“He can show here at Chelsea, that he can become a world-class player.”

He played 33 matches last season under Frank Lampard, but 20 appearances were off the bench.

However, in the current season Premier League matches, the 19-year-old has played only ten minutes of football action.

After the arrivals of Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, and Kai Havertz, there were rumors that the England international could leave on loan.

According to the Telegraph, Bayern Munich could show their interest again in Hudson-Odoi.

In fact, Bayern Munich players believe they will launch an official bid for the player before the October 5 deadline.

Coach Frank Lampard was asked about Hudson-Odoi’s future before the Carabao Cup match against Barnsley.

He said: “We’re in a difficult period of the transfer window in terms of how players move to different clubs. Also, the competitive matches have just started.

“I’m open to talks with the players over the next couple of weeks.

“My priority is to maintain and keep the strongest squad I can for the club but after that the individual talks will happen.

“I will make sure I go into the new season when the window shuts with the best squad that I feel is competitive and healthy.”

Chelsea play against Barnsley today in the Carabao Cup third round.
