Man United moved to the next round of the Carabao Cup after a 3-0 win over Brighton as Mata scored alongside McTominay and Pogba, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the game was eventful with a good attacking play of football being displayed but only one goal was recorded.
Man United did more of the pressing in the first 45 minutes which saw many chances went begging.
Brighton also had a few amounts of fair opportunities to make something out of the game which they failed.
McTominay broke the deadlock in the 44th minute after a good play saw Juan Mata pull of the assist for the goal.
It ended in the first half Brighton 0-1 Man United as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side headed for the break with the advantage.
Second Half Report
It was a much better second half for The Red Devils who scored twice which made it three goals in the game.
Brighton were left helpless as all efforts to pull back level proved to nothing for them with all chances wasted.
Juan Mata makes it 2-0 for Man United in the 73rd minute with a lovely goal from the Spaniard who scored from Donny van de Beek assist.
Paul Pogba also got his name on the scoresheet in the 80th minute of the game which was an exceptional goal.
It ended with Man United progressing to the next round with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Brighton.
