Chelsea have reportedly approached Real Madrid for winger Vinicius Junior, MySportDab reports.

The 20-year-old was not used in the Champions League last-16 2nd leg match against Manchester City.

Now, questions have been raised about his future at the Santiago Bernabeu.

According to Spanish Newspaper AS Diario, Chelsea have already approached Real Madrid about a potential transfer and first made contact back in November.

Both Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain have previously shown interest in the Brazilian.

Zinedine Zidane has been very serious when it comes to his attacking options, he’s not using Gareth Bale and barely plays Vinicius.

Real Madrid signed Eden Hazard last summer from Chelsea and has been used alongside Rodrygo and Karim Benzema.

Vinicius, who signed for Los Blancos from Brazilian club Flamengo in 2018, remains under contract until June 2025.

MySportDab understands that he has a shocking £630m release clause but he’s yet to establish himself at Real Madrid.

Vinicius has scored only eight goals in 69 matches for the Spanish Champions so far.

Meanwhile, Chelsea Coach Lampard has already signed Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner for a combined £90m fee.

The Blues have also shown serious interest in Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz.
