Manchester United playmaker Juan Mata is ready to leave the club this summer, MySportDab reports.

Turkish club Fenerbahce are said to be interested in signing the midfielder at the end of the season.

According to The Daily Mail, Mata is ‘eager’ for a new challenge away from Old Trafford.

And now clubs are looking to strike a deal for the 32-year-old midfielder.

Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will continue to rebuild his squad and Mata is unlikely to be part of his plans.

The Spaniard’s playing time has been reduced since the signing of Bruno Fernandes in the January transfer window.

Mata started in midfield during the FA Cup win over Norwich recently.

However, Coach Solskjaer preferred to play Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood on the wings during the 5-2 victory over Bournemouth.

Mata has made 20 starts this season, but 12 of those have come in cup matches and Fernandes and Pogba’s partnership could reduce Mata’s playing time even more.

But, he is under contract at United until June 2021 and the Red Devils still have the option to extend the deal by another year, meaning Fenerbahce would have to pay a fee.

Mata has played 252 matches since he signed for United from Chelsea in a £37.1m deal, scored 48 goals and 42 assists in almost seven seasons.
