Paul Pogba is likely to start his first match for Manchester United in 10 months Vs Sheffield United tonight in the Premier League, MySportDab reports.

The French World Cup winner is fully fit again after recovering from injury issues that kept him out since Boxing Day.

Pogba impressed during his performance as a second half substitute in the match against Tottenham.

The 27-year-old secured the penalty which earned United a draw in the match last Friday.

Now, Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is considering handing Pogba a start against Sheffield United on Wednesday night.

This means that Pogba could start with Bruno Fernandes for the first time ever.

Fernandes, Fred and Scott McTominay started in midfield against Tottenham, but one played will be dropped to accommodate Pogba in the starting XI.

Pogba has not started for United since the 1-1 draw against Arsenal in September, 2019.

Coach Solskjaer recently said that Pogba is ‘one of the best footballers in the world.’

‘He’s Happy to be back, he’s had a 10-month injury nightmare, it’s not good to be out for 10 months.

‘Now he’s back playing again, I’m sure everyone can see he’s ready for the game.

‘It’s currently a different team to the team before his injury. Bruno’s signing, the boys have more confidence now. The boys now need to trust themselves and their own fitness.’

Manchester United are now fifth in the table, but will drop down should Sheffield United get a win tonight.
