Liverpool Coach Jurgen Klopp was in tears on Thursday night as the Reds were confirmed as Premier League Champions, MySportDab reports.

Chelsea’s 2-1 win against Manchester City ended the title race and secured Liverpool the trophy they worked so hard for.

Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool players watched the Stamford Bridge Match at a hotel on Merseyside and were very happy at reaching their ultimate goal.

Klopp could barely keep his emotions together and said: ‘We needed to convince people and that is what we did. It’s a big moment. I am overwhelmed. I never thought it would feel like this.’

Thousands of Liverpool fans gathered outside Anfield, rushing to the stadium after the Chelsea match ended.

However, Jurgen Klopp dedicated the Premier League title to the fans.

‘It’s for you all,’ he added.

‘It feels incredible. Celebrate at home or in front of your home. It’s happiness.

‘I could not be more proud of what my coaching staff, people in Liverpool did together. It has been very exciting since the first day. We enjoy the moment. It is the best thing I can dream of. It is more than than I expected.

‘These moments can never be forgotten. We will create pictures in the parade for all fans when we can celebrate.

Liverpool won the title with seven matches left and Klopp was overcome with emotions during his sky Sports interview.

Jurgen Klopp was appointed Liverpool Coach in 2015, with the Reds 10th in the Premier League.

They made it to the Champions League final in 2018, lost it 3-1 to Real Madrid and finished the 2018-19 Premier League season second.

But in June 2019, Jurgen Klopp secured his first major honour as Liverpool Coach by winning the Champions League.
