“Premier League Can Restart From June 1st” – UK Government CONFIRMS!

The English Premier League Project Restart plan is ready to get started after the UK government confirmed plans for Sports events to resume from June 1st, MySportDab reports. 

However, the UK Government confirmed that fans won’t be allowed to attend sports events until further notice.

A strategy document has been setup to outline the plan to ease lockdown regulations which would allow Sports to resume fully in the country.

The English Premier league has not played any match since March 9 due to the coronavirus pandemic, which has caused over 30,000 defeats officially.

The Premier League 2019-20 Season still has 92 matches to be played to complete the season and there are plans to finish the season just like the German Bundesliga.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s ‘roadmap’ return plans  states that all sports events must follow the government guideline of five tests.

MySportDab understands that the English league will only return if the UK cuts down the spread of the virus.

Events will not return until June 1 subject to strict conditions but it gives hopes for Premier League clubs who want the season to resume.

The Project Restart plan is being held up by some clubs against playing matches at neutral grounds, saying that matches should be played on a home-and-away basis.

According to Sky Sports on Monday, Most of the bottom-half clubs don’t want to be threatened with relegation for the season to be completed.

Norwich, Watford, Bournemouth, Brighton, West Ham and Aston Villa are all against the proposal.
