Meanwhile, Alexis Sanchez has failed to impress while on loan at Inter Milan in Italy after his Old Trafford struggles.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Coach Ole Gunnar Solksjaer wants to sell the deadwood in his squad this summer and is now trying to use Sanchez in a deal for Sancho.
Sanchez wages could become an issue with Borussia Dortmund unlikely to pay him £500,000-a-week.
MySportDab understands that Sanchez would be happy about a move back to Chile and end his Old Trafford career.
The 31-year-old has scored once while on loan at Inter Milan.
