Liverpool and Newcastle are the two clubs still interested in Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly this summer after PSG and Manchester United pulled out, MySportDab reports.
According to Le10 Sport in France, PSG will instead focus on ensuring defender Thiago Silva signs a new contract instead.
Koulibaly now looks ready to join the English Premier League this summer.
The Senegal international was linked with a move to Manchester United last summer but he remained at Napoli.
However, his Napoli contract is due to expire next year and Napoli are ready to sell their key defender as soon as possible.
The 28-year-old is one of the best defenders in the world and Napoli have once demanded £100million for the player.
But, Liverpool Coach Jurgen Klopp wants to sign Koulibaly and make him form a partnership with Virgil van Dijk in defence which could stun the Premier League.
MySportDab understands Koulibaly is okay with a move to Anfield and will consider their offer if they make a bid this summer.
However, Liverpool still face competition from Saudi backed Newcastle United.
