Haaland has scored 12 goals in 11 matches for Borussia Dortmund before the coronavirus crisis paused the season.

MySportDab understands a release clause put in his deal by Borussia Dortmund means he will be free to leave for £63m from 2021.

Real Madrid are known to be very interested in the young starlet and are hoping to negotiate a transfer before other clubs place offers.

A transfer to LaLiga would move Haaland onto a bigger club and bigger stage but Coach Marsch thinks he’s ready for the challenge.

‘First, his speed, power, physical abilities, he can get to top speed at any time, all of these things make him one of the best of players. He has the potential to be one of the best footballers in the world,’ he told ESPN.

‘What makes Haaland very special is his mentality,’ said Marsch.

‘Let me start, he played at the youth World Cup and scored nine goals in one match. We gave every player three weeks off before they can come with us. Haaland had only six days off and said “no, I want to return back to camp”.
