Manchester City are ‘very likely’ to face points deduction in the Premier League after a punishment by UEFA, MySportDab reports.

As confirmed on Friday, Manchester City have been banned from the Champions League and all European Competitions for two years and also asked to pay a £25million fine for breaching Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.
According to MySportDab sources, the Premier League will be forced to dish out its own punishmet due to licensing, which works with UEFA’s FFP rules.
UEFA’s Adjudicatory Chamber discovered that City overstated its sponsorship revenue.
Although City can overturn the Champions League ban with an appeal, but it is very unlikely and they will even face another punishment from the English Premier League.
MySportDab understands that Premier League committees have already discussed potential punishments if UEFA do publish Manchester City.
City are currently second in the Premier League on 51 points, 22 points behind runaway leaders Liverpool.
Also, Manchester United and Liverpool fans have asked the Premier League to decide a good punishment on Manchester City with a points deduction.
One fan wrote: “Surely the @premierleague will have to  punish Man City now too, points deduction or strip them of their titles they have won since breaching the FFP rules.
“Man City will surely get a points deduction, Pep Guardiola is finish,” another tweeted.
A Liverpool fan joked: “A good 2 point deduction for Man City in the 2018-19 Premier League season now please…”
