Liverpool are planning to reward defender Virgil van Dijk with a new stunning contract which could be worth £50million, MySportDab reports.

Van Dijk became Liverpool’s record signing in January 2018 after he signed from Southampton for £75million.
He also became one of the club’s top earners after signing a five-and-a-half year deal with wages worth around £125,000-a-week.
His move to the Merseyside had an instant impact as he helped Liverpool reach the Champions League final in 2018.
A year later, Liverpool reached the Champions League final again and won the trophy after defeating Tottenham.
Van Dijk’s importance at the back has also been credited for Joe Gomez’s improvement along with the impressive development of Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The full backs signed new long-term contracts last year, a month before Gomez also committed his future to the club.
Van Dijk still has three years on his current contract but Liverpool are keen to fend off any potential suitors like Juventus.
And According to Football Insider, Liverpool are ready to offer the Netherlands star a new five-year contract worth £150,000-per-week after their Fenway Sports Group (FSG) owners decided to sort out his future.
MySportDab understands there will be various add-ons which includes a £5m loyalty bonus and another £4m when he makes 150 appearances for the Reds.
And the contract is worth in excess of £50m over the full five years period.
Van Dijk has played every minute of the 2019-20 season so far as Liverpool look to set a record-breaking points total on route to winning their first Premier League title in over 30 years.
