Wayne Rooney scored as Derby County secured a 4-2 FA Cup win over Northampton last night and launching a reunion with former club Manchester United in the fifth round, MySportDab reports.

The Rams were forced to have a replay with League Two outfit Northampton again after having drawn 0-0 in their first match at Sixfields Stadium last month.
However, Derby boss Phillip Cocu and his team found their shooting boots this time, scoring four against Northampton to secure their place in the last-16 of the competition.
And they now face no other than Premier League Club Manchester United, where Rooney spent 13 years before returning to Everton in 2017.
After sealing a £25m transfer from the Toffes in 2004, Rooney went on to create his legacy as one of the greatest players in Manchester United’s history.
He won five Premier League titles, one FA Cup, three League Cups, the Champions League and the Europa League, while also becoming Manchester United’s all time top goal scorer with 253 goals.
Derby County fans will hope the former England captain can haunt his former club when they meet on March 5th at Pride Park.
Unfortunately for Derby fans faithful, the possibilities don’t look good.
MySportDab understands that during his time at Everton, Rooney played a total of six matches against United and he lost on every single occasion.
