Inter Milan are now in advanced talks with Manchester United to sign defender Ashley Young and are ready to offer him a new contract, MySportDab reports.
According to Sky Sports, the 34-year-old United captain has already shown a desire to make a move to Italy.
Young has just six months left on his current United deal, after agreeing a one-year extension last year February.
Inter Milan are now willing to offer the England international a deal which would run until June 2021.
MySportDab understands it is not clear if Manchester
United are willing to let Young leave on a free transfer at the end of the season or demand a fee this January.
After signing Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku, Young would become the third United player to join Antonio Conte’s team since his appointment.
Young has played 12 game so far this season in all competitions under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Manchester United Coach Solskjaer said United must not “weaken themselves” when asked about a possible exit for Young after Tuesday’s 3-1 defeat to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup.
“Tonight we can’t talk about players leaving. We must not weaken ourselves we have to continue to strengthen ourselves,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is still a top target for Conte although both clubs are yet to make fresh contact since the January transfer window opened.
The Serie A club made contact with Chelsea before Christmas over a deal for the France international but have not continued in their bid to sign to player.
