Chinese Tennis star Qiang Wang has knocked Serena Williams out of the Australian Open with a shocking 6-4, 6-7(2), 7-5 win, MySportDab reports.

Serena was one of the favourites to win the first Grand Slam of the year and finally equal Margaret Court’s record she has wanted to achieve for over three years now.
MySportDab understands World No 29 Wang was desperate for revenge after being thrashed 6-1, 6-0 by Serena in the US Open quarter-finals last year.
And the Chinese dominated the early on at the Rod Laver Arena as she raced into a lead.
But Serena didn’t give up and came back into the game to try and avoid an exit from the tournament.
The 38-year-old did earn a route back into the match as she earned a crucial break point in the eighth game of the second set.
And she had Wang on the line but failed to take advantage and a glorious opportunity.
Williams knew how crucial that miss was as she turned to face away from the court in disappointment.
But she didn’t give up, as Williams broke for the first time in the match for 5-5 and then defended took the set into a tie break.
However, Wang knew what she had to do and secured a 7-2 win.
Speaking After the match Wang revealed how her previous loss to Williams made her increase the intensity.
“After the last game I had to work really hard on and off the court,” Wang said.
“It is good work and I believed I can do it.
“I’m not sure about the second set, I was a somehow confused because I lost that set.
“I just had to be calm, it felt confused on the inside but my mind always told me I have to focus on every point and trust myself.”
