AC Milan have officially confirmed the signing of Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a free transfer, MySportDab reports.
AC Milan announced the news with an official statement on its official website.
The statement on AC Milan’s website read: ‘AC Milan announces that it has reached an agreement for the right of player Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
‘The Swedish forward has reached an agreement with the AC Milan club until the end of this season, with the option to extend it for the following season.’
Ibrahimovic has signed a contract which runs until the end of the current season, with an option for another year at the club.
After signing his contract, Zlatan said: “I am back at a club that I respect alot and to a city I will always love.
“I will fight with my new teammates to change the course of this season and I will do everything possible to achieve our goals.”
On loan from Barcelona, Ibrahimovic first arrived at Milan in August 2010, helping the club win their 18th Scudetto that season by scoring an impressive 14 goals.
He then signed permanently and did score 28 goals the next season before leaving for French Club Paris Saint-Germain.
MySportDab understands Ibrahimovic’s arrival at Milanello is scheduled for January 2, But further reports suggest hat his first match will likely to be the Coppa Italia clash against SPAL at San Siro on January 15.
