BREAKING! UEFA Bans Arsenal's Alexander Lacazette From Both Legs Of Last-16 Match

UEFA have officially banned Arsenal Striker Alexander Lacazette from both legs of the club's Europa League Clash against Rennes.

Lacazette was sent off in the first leg of Arsenal's round of 32 game against BATE Borisov after he elbowed Aleksandar Filipovic.

The Frenchman missed the second leg against BATE and will now serve a further two-match ban.

The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) issued a  statement which reads: "The CEDB has decided to suspend the player Alexandre Lacazette for three (3) UEFA club competition matches.

"The player, having already served one match, will be suspended for a further two (2) matches."

MySportDab reports Arsenal face Rennes away on March 7 before hosting the French side at Emirates Stadium on March 14.

Lacazette's suspension means that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the only senior striker available to Arsenal against Rennes.

Lacazette has scored 12 goals in 33 appearances for Arsenal this season, with one of those goals having come in the Europa League.
