Manchester United are considering the idea of Mason Greenwood leaving next season on loan, MySportDab reports.

United’s internal investigation into the Youngster after he got accused of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault discontinued is still ongoing.

However, According to Daily Mail Sport, Club officials are open to the possibility of a loan transfer abroad for the 21-year-old.

Italy, Spain and Turkey are the best options currently available for the player.

United are also said to be close to a final decision about Greenwood, who has two years left on his £75,000-a-week contract.

The Red Devils could release the player should his return not be taken likely or they could complete the review and send him away.

Such a move away from England would allow the club gauge public reaction and the player’s mental health and performance levels.

He could also join an European club to get more playing time while the investigation continues.

Greenwood remains suspended by Manchester United for almost two years now and his return remains unlikely for now.

The idea of the academy product heading to another Premier League club is not possible.

But United received offers from Turkey for the player, which is not what Greenwood might prefer for his football.

However, the idea of signing Greenwood for some Serie A or La Liga Clhbs may pose a problem for the club ownership.

A move to an American-owned club like AC Milan, would be very difficult.

The current situation is very complex. United have asked for the opinions of both their men’s and women’s teams. The potential club sale process also makes it further complicated.

United remain up for sale since November but the takeover could be completed by Qatari Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani or British petrochemicals billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe soon.
