He signed his first senior contract with National League side Solihull Moors in October 2020. The deal, which ran through June 2022, gave Hudlin his first sustained experience of first-team football, allowing him to develop as a traditional target striker who used his exceptional height to dominate aerially and hold up play.
In 2022, Hudlin signed for Championship club Huddersfield Town before immediately joining AFC Wimbledon on loan for the 2022–23 League Two season.
He scored his first professional goal in an EFL Trophy match against Crawley Town in September 2022.
