Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has now confirmed transfer plans for midfielder Donny Van De Beek, MySportDab reports.

Solskjaer has now denied reports that Donny van de Beek was close to joining Everton during the summer transfer window.

Everton were forced to spend very little during the transfer window due to Financial problems Fair Play trouble.

The two players they signed this season are Demarai Gray and Andros Townsend for £1.1m each.

According to reports, Everton Coach Rafael Benitez made a late attempt to sign van de Beek on loan before the summer transfer window closed.

However, Solskjaer has admitted that that he knows that Van De Beek is frustrated.

“We did not receive an offer from Everton for him. He is a Manchester United player for me,” Solskjaer told Dutch television RTL7.

“Donny is working very hard. I understand him, for being frustrated and disappointed due to his lack of playing time. But he must work every day with a big smile.

“I know he is not happy but he is a true professional. He knows this happens in football.

“If you looked our team today, you can see that we have so much quality. But he’s training well and I hope to give him his chance.”

Van De Beek has been very frustrated throughout this season as his playing minutes remain very little compared to his teammates.

The 24-year-old has played only three matches across all the competitions so far this season.

In the Premier League has featured for just five minutes, all of those coming in the 4-1 win over Newcastle United.

He played 45 minutes in the Champions League defeat to Young Boys but was substituted at half-time.

His only 90-minute full match playing time came in the 1-0 Carabao Cup loss to West Ham.

He could only watch again from the bench as Cristiano Ronaldo completed a dramatic Comeback for Manchester United against Atalanta.
