Danny Welbeck has officially completed his long awaited move from Brighton and Hove Albion to Chelsea this summer window after a long negotiation and talks.
The England international comes in as one amongst two veteran signings from Xabi Alonso who is hoping to add more leadership quality to his team.
Jordan Henderson is also expected to complete a move in the coming days after announcing his departure from Brentford this summer.
It is a rebuilding process for Xabi Alonso who is taking a different path in opposition to what the Chelsea owners has been doing since they took over.
Instead of investing in future prospects, Alonso is gathering experience players who still have a lot to offer to the team. Danny Welbeck is one among a handful that is expected to help the younger players.
The England international signed a two year contract which will see him remain at Stamford Bridge until 2028, before a new deal can be talked about.

Danny Welbeck will immediately fly to join the team as they continue intensive preparations for the new season which they are expected to hit high targets better than their horrible previous season.
