Manchester United have reached an agreement to sign Belgium international Youri Tielemans this summer window from Aston Villa.

The acquisition of Tielemans represents a significant step in Manchester United’s ongoing squad rebuild. Under the INEOS leadership, the club has been vocal about its intention to sign multiple midfield options.
Alongside the imminent arrival of Chelsea’s Andrey Santos, the addition of Tielemans provides manager Michael Carrick with a player who combines elite-level passing range with his recent appearances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Tielemans is expected to join the squad’s preparations immediately following the completion of his medical, offering United a veteran presence capable of controlling tempo and dictating play.
