Real Madrid have been handed a big boost ahead of their crunch UEFA Champions League Round 16 second leg against Manchester City tonight at Etihad, MySportDab reports.

A hugely gutted Real Madrid side ran riot against Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg, winning 3–0, courtesy of Valverde’s hat-trick.

Pep Guardiola’s City now faces a tall ask of scoring four past the La Liga giants at Etihad tonight if they must qualify for the next round of the competition.

Now, it appears that prospect is unlikely with Real Madrid receiving back into their fold two key players – Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham – who missed the first leg due to injuries.

According to Fabrizio Romano, both Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe are back to the Real Madrid training ground at Etihad for tonight’s cracker.

The two players, known for their clutch performances for Los Blancos, are a big addition to Alvaro Arbeloa’s squad and are expected to make a big difference in their bid to secure their three-goal advantage coming into this clash.

However, it is yet unclear whether they will be cleared to start the match or from the bench. Mbappe has a La Liga-leader 23 goals for Real Madrid this season and is top of the Champions League goal-scoring chats as well this season with 13 to his name.

Jude Bellingham has had a subdued season with Los Blancos this season due to injury, but has managed four La Liga goals and two in the Champions League.
