Arsenal booked their ticket for the Emirates FA Cup quarter final after beating Mansfield Town 1-2, MySportDab reports.
Despite the huge difference between both teams, the home side did well enough from their end all through the 90 minutes.
First Half Report
It was a fair game from both ends as they looked good enough pushing and fighting to get ahead against each other.
Mansfield Town did well enough to make sure they were no pushover against their Premier League opponent who kept pressing them hard.
Noni Madueke broke the deadlock with a goal which was assisted by Gabriel Martinelli to make things 0-1 in the 41st minute.
The first half ended with Arsenal ahead 0-1 after giving a good account of themselves which resulted in them making something happen.
Second Half Report
The game pushed on forward with the Lower League side still fighting so hard to make sure they got something of their own.
Evans was able to level things 1-1 in the 50th minute after a wonderful work from them which opened up the match.
Eberechi Eze restored the advantage with a goal which was assisted by Norgaard in the 66th minute which made sure it was 1-2.
Arsenal claimed a 1-2 victory against Mansfield Town which book their place in the quarter final stages of the Emirates FA Cup.
