Senegal booked their qualifications for the AFCON 2025 Semifinals after beating Mali 0-1, MySportDab reports.
It was a high tempo game between both teams who had a lot to do going forward against each other despite the red card which came into play.
First Half Report
Both national teams came into the match after making it through from the round 16 which wasn’t an easy one.
Mali played their round 16 game with a red card which they still find a way of claiming victory against Tunisia.
Senegal took the lead in the 27th minute after a goal from Everton Iliman Ndiaye who made sure it was 0-1 as they carried on.
The first half carried on with Bissoumauntil getting a red card before the 45 minutes came to a conclusion with a 0-1 scoreline.
Second Half Report
Play continued with them pushing for more which they needed to make sure they put themselves into the next round.
More action was witnessed but nothing was happening between both teams who kept at it while opportunities kept wasting.
It came to an end with Senegal claiming a 0-1 victory against Mali which meant the Lions of Teranga advanced into the semi final round of the AFCON 2025.
