Rayan Cherki scored the deciding goal as Manchester City claimed a 1-2 victory against Nottingham Forest, MySportDab reports.
The Forest side did well enough despite how the odds looked against them coming into this match against City.

The match had a lot riding on it as both teams are in need of the maximum points to help boost their position on the table.
Pep Guardiola side has been on a good run coming into the match which they needed to keep it up to ensure they put pressure on Arsenal.
Nottingham Forest did well enough holding play and made sure they was no damages done to them while the match carried on.

The game resumed with Manchester City taking the lead 0-1 through a 48th minute goal from Tijjani Reijnders which was assisted by Ryan Cherki.
Igor Jesus setup Omari Hutchinson who scored in the 54th minute to ensure the game became 1-1 as both teams pushed on.
Rayan Cherki scored in the 83rd minute which ended up giving Manchester City the needed victory 1-2 against Nottingham Forest.
