Real Madrid have also not signed off on any activity for the defender who still plays a key role for their defensive department.
The talk of a move to Premier League is still going hot but nothing have been done in terms of enquires or approach.

“The club feel they need a senior, experienced figure in the dressing room to set standards and offer leadership during difficult moments — similar to the impact Thiago Silva had when he arrived at 35.
There is nothing being done for now as Chelsea are yet to make any approach for the player who is also committed to staying with Real Madrid for the main time.
