Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace as Portugal draw Hungary 2-2 in their World Cup qualifiers clash, MySportDab reports.
The Portuguese legend continues to score but it wasn’t enough as late Szoboszlai goal saw them settled for draw.
First Half Report
There was so much to play for between both national teams who looked well organized while they pushed forward.
Hungary drew first blood when Szalai scored a beauty through an assist from Liverpool Szoboszlai which saw things turned 0-1 in the 8th minute.
Cristiano Ronaldo drew things leveled with a wonderful finish which was assisted by Nelson Semedo as the game turned 1-1 in the 22nd minute.
Ronaldo once again scored in the additional time of the first half which was assisted again by Nelson Semedo which saw things turned 2-1.
The first half finished with the Nations League Champions making sure they were on top while they headed for a break.
Second Half Report
The remaining 45 minutes had it’s moments as both teams continued to pushed and offered so much on the pitch.
Nothing changed the situation which remained the as opportunities kept on coming from different direction in the match.
Szoboszlai scored in the additional time which saw the game turned level 2-2 between both twams with little left to be played.
Portugal finished the game with a 2-2 victory against Hungary which saw both teams taking one point each.
