Estevao Willian scored a late goal as Chelsea claimed a 2-1 victory against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, MySportDab reports.
Both teams had it good in the match which they had fair enough share of dominance which lasted to some points.
First Half Report
It was an incredible scene at Stamford Bridge with the Blues going into the game with most part of their defenders out.
Liverpool game it a good start as they pushed with everything while dominating play against Enzo Maresca side who looked decent.
Sooner in the match, Chelsea took control of things and did came close at some point to try making something happen.
Moises Caicedo scored an outstanding rocket from outside the box in the 14th minute with assist from Malo Gusto which made it 1-0.
After the goal, there was nothing much that happen aside wasted opportunities and a VAR check for possible penalty which wasn’t given.
Second Half Report
The action was still on between both teams who did not slow down as there was still so much work needed to be done.
Cody Gakpo scored in the 63rd minute with Alexander Isak making the assist which saw things between both teams come level 1-1.
The match carried on until additional time which saw Estevao Willian scored a beauty with assist from Marc Cucurella which made it 2-1.
Before the game came to an end, Enzo Maresca was shown a second yellow card resulting to him being sent off as a red.
