Enzo Maresca have confirmed Cole Palmer is expected to miss action once again as he also hint on his replacement, MySportDab reports
The Chelsea attacking midfielder have been hit with a lot of concerns after being removed from Manchester United game.
Palmer have been playing through injury this season before he was first ruled out and made his return.
He have kept up with the pressure of wanting to maintain his excellent form which took a hit before the club world cup final.
The season haven’t started so well for him as he continued to play through some concerns which have ruled him out once again.
According to Enzo Maresca press conference today, he confirmed Palmer will be out for a long time with him talking about his replacement.
Here Is What He Said:
“We decided to protect a little bit Cole in terms of his injuries not getting worse.
“We decided to rest him for the next two or three weeks before the international break to see if he can recover 100% and be fully fit from the international break.”
He Added On Replacement:
“Buonanotte can play in that position. But it depends a little bit on the game, the other team and how they defend. It depends.”
However, Buonanotte won’t be eligible to play against Brighton due to him playing on loan with Chelsea.
