Chelsea are still in the market for AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan who they see as a good fit, MySportDab reports.
The move almost happened during this summer window, but both clubs had their issues on a final agreement of fee.
The Premier League side were not willing to go higher than what they view as a suitable price for the goalkeeper.
While for Milan, they wanted a much higher fee and were not ready to back down on their demands for their goalkeeper.
Several talks was held between both clubs, but an agreement was not reached despite the greenlight from the goalkeeper.
The move was abandoned and Enzo Maresca also reassured his faith on Chelsea available goalkeepers.
According to Transfer News Live, they confirmed the Premier League side have not given up on signing the goalkeeper.
