Arsenal have reached an agreement in place to sign Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapié, MySportDab reports.
The defender earlier confirmed that he wants to leave the German club with just few days left to close.
Chelsea were the side initially linked with a move, but they haven’t made any decision on if they would get the defender.
However, Mikel Arteta side have advanced again in the deal which is looking likely to become another signing this summer.
The greenlight from the player was to accept top clubs in Europe as he feels his time in Germany is not he want to continue.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed an agreement have been reach between the player and Arsenal.

The deal is expected to happen with just few days left in the summer window before it comes to a close.
