Chelsea move for Mike Maignan is already heating up between both teams who are involved in talks, MySportDab reports.
It was confirmed that the Premier League side registered interest for the France International goalkeeper.
Enzo Maresca had confirmed and gave the green light to bring in the goalkeeper despite the club already have four with their team.
It was said the goalkeeper is admired by the Blues manager who wanted to ensure he get him in the team.
Meanwhile, the move was also to make sure they have an experience number one knowing they will play Champions League next season.
Report coming from Fabrizio Romano confirmed there is now some issues with the move with AC Milan.
Here Is What Was Said:
“Chelsea and AC Milan are not close on valuation for Mike Maignan.
“AC Milan want around €30m; Chelsea won’t pay that as they value Maignan at €10m being out of contract in 2026.
“Chelsea won’t wait longer than Monday as they’re also happy with 4 goalkeepers in their squad.
There is a possibility that the move could be terminated if the Italian club do not change their mind.
Chelsea would also be willing to step out of negotiations if they don’t get to pull off the move on their terms.
