UEL Final Starting Lineup: Alejandro Garnacho’s Blasts Amorim, Hints On Man United Future!

It’s apparent Alejandro Garnacho and Ruben Amorim aren’t getting along in the Man United squad lately, MySportDab reports.

The duo’s relationship seems to have degenerated as the competition for places in the squad stiffens.

While this remains more of a speculation, Garnacho seems to have affirmed it with his shocking comment after United lost the Europa League final by a lone goal to Spurs.

Speaking in a post-match interview, Garnacho insisted he has been hardworking and helping the team, only to be allotted a 20-minute shift in the final against Spurs in Bilbao.

He went ahead to hint at his future at the club when prised about it, saying he doesn’t know but is open to whatever happens.

”I played every round to help the team reach the final, and today I only got 20 minutes,’ the Argentine told the media, as per AlbicelesteTalk.

”I don’t know. I will try to enjoy the summer and then see what happens,” he said.

Garnacho was subbed on in the 70th minute and created an instant impact after coming.

This led to the questioning of Ruben Amorim’s decision to bench the winger for Mason Mount in the match.

Garnacho’s brother and agent had echoed a similar sentiment, questioning the decision to drop his brother to the bench and mocking Amorim in an Instagram post.

This fallout has further stoked speculations on Garnacho’s future at United under Amorim.

Recall that the Argentine was on the verge of joining Napoli last summer before the move faded out.

He is likely to explore other options for a new challenge this summer, given his dwindling fortunes under Amorim.
