Liverpool have officially completed the signing of French winger Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain in one of the biggest transfers of the summer window 2026.
The deal is reportedly worth up to £123 million, making Barcola one of the most expensive signings in Premier League history. The 23-year-old arrives at Anfield after enjoying a successful spell with PSG.
During his time in France, the forward developed into one of the most exciting attacking players in Europe. His pace, dribbling ability, creativity, and eye for goal helped him become an important player for both club and country.

Liverpool had been tracking Barcola for a long time and made him one of their top transfer targets. After weeks of negotiations with PSG, the Reds finally reached an agreement for the move.
The deal between both teams is worth an initial fee of around £106 million, with additional performance-related bonuses that could take the total package to £123 million.
Barcola joins Liverpool on a long-term contract and is expected to play a key role in the club’s attacking plans for the coming seasons.
The French international expressed his excitement about moving to Anfield and revealed his desire to compete for major trophies, including the Premier League title.
“It’s a great pride to be able to play for Liverpool. I’m very happy” Bradley Barcola said after signing.
“It took a long time but I’m really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play.
“I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it’s one of my biggest dreams in my life.
“It is to do that and to stay in this team in the long term – that’s why I signed a long contract – and I hope I can do it.”
He added: “I had the chance to play twice in this stadium and I saw the atmosphere and how the fans were behind the Liverpool players.
“When I knew about Liverpool’s interest in me, I didn’t ask questions and I knew it was a very big club for me.”
The winger leaves PSG after making more than 150 appearances for the French giants. During that period, he scored important goals and provided numerous assists while helping the club win major domestic and European honours.
His performances also earned him a regular place in the France national team setup. Liverpool supporters will be hoping Barcola can bring more speed and creativity to the team’s attack.
His ability to beat defenders in one-on-one situations and create chances for teammates makes him one of the most dangerous young forwards in European football.
The club believes his arrival will strengthen the squad as they aim to challenge for silverware on multiple fronts this season. The transfer also shows the red’s ambition in the market.

The club has continued to invest heavily in top talent as it looks to build a squad capable of competing with the best teams in England and Europe. Barcola’s signing sends a strong message that Liverpool remain determined to stay among football’s elite clubs.
As the new season progresses, all eyes will be on the new signing to see how quickly he adapts to life in the Premier League. Liverpool fans will be eager to watch their new star in action and hope he can make an immediate impact.
If he performs at the level he showed in France, the £123 million investment could prove to be a game-changing signing for the Reds as they look to build after Mohamed Salah departure.
