The match began with excellent play as expected when these two footballing giants collide. Both sides approached the game with caution, prioritizing structural integrity over risk-taking.

The momentum had firmly shifted with extra time looming, Lautaro Martinez delivered the ultimate blow. In the 90th minute, with just moments remaining before the referee’s final whistle, Martinez capitalized on a scramble in the box to head home the winning goal.
It was a heart-wrenching conclusion for the Three Lions, who had stood toe-to-toe with the holders for the majority of the evening. The match eventually ended with Argentina claiming a 2-1 victory against England after 90 minutes of action.
The victory marks a monumental achievement for Argentina, who remain on track to defend their crown. They now head to the New York New Jersey Stadium for the World Cup Final which will take place on July 19.
The current Champions will face a formidable Spain side that dispatched France 2-0 in the first semi-final. Meanwhile, England will have to settle for a bronze medal match against France on July 18.
Argentina remain the team to beat with Messi’s brilliance guiding the ship and looking to add another trophy to his collection.
All eyes will be on the final showdown which won’t be an easy one for either of both finalists who will be desperate to claim the 2026 FIFA World Cup trophy in New Jersey.
