Tyson Fury marked his return to the ring with a convincing points victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, before immediately reigniting his long-standing rivalry with Anthony Joshua, MysportDab reports.

Fury, 37, was fighting for the first time in 15 months following his latest retirement and showed composure and control throughout the 12-round contest.

While not at his explosive best, the former world champion used his superior ring IQ and technical ability to outbox Makhmudov in a largely one-sided affair.

The Russian posed occasional threats with overhand rights, but struggled to trouble Fury consistently, as the Brit secured a wide unanimous decision with scorecards of 120-108, 120-108, and 119-109.

However, the drama intensified after the final bell. Even before the official result was announced, Fury turned his attention to Joshua, who was seated ringside, and invited him into the ring for a face-off. Joshua declined the invitation, but the verbal exchanges quickly escalated.

“I challenge you, Anthony Joshua, to fight me next. Do you accept?” Fury called out.

Joshua responded sharply, reminding Fury of their past encounters. “I punched you up when we were kids and I’ll do it again. I’ve been chasing you for 10 years,” he said, asserting his dominance.

Fury fired back with confidence, declaring, “You are next. You’re getting knocked out—believe it.”

The long-anticipated clash between the two British heavyweights has been one of boxing’s biggest missed opportunities, but with tensions reignited, the possibility of finally seeing them share the ring appears closer than ever.
