Kai Havertz scored a late winner as Arsenal secured a first leg advantage 0-1 against Sporting Lisbon, MySportDab reports.
It was all through end to end play as the Portuguese side made sure they showed class against the English team who were favorite.
First Half Report

It was a cagey affair which saw Mikel Arteta deploying every tactic possible to make sure his side bounce back from Southampton shock.
There wasn’t anything happening quick for Arsenal who many were expected to take full control of everything on the pitch.
Sporting Lisbon were in no rush as long as they had control and kept the scoreline in a way that favors them in their home ground.
No goal happened as they headed for the break staying 0-0 against each other. It wasn’t an easy 45 minutes for either of both teams.
Second Half Report

There was more action leading into the second half which started slow as both sides wanted to take full control.
The match carried on with both teams doing everything possible, but there was a goal scored by Martin Zubimendi in the 64th minute but VAR ruled it out.
Kai Havertz scored in additional time as Arsenal managed to scale through with a 0-1 victory against Sporting Lisbon after 90 minutes of action played.
