Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was on target as PSG beat Liverpool 2-0 in their first leg Champions League quarter final, MySportDab reports.
The Premier League Champions couldn’t offer anything much as they will hope to overturn things at Anfield Stadium.
First Half Report
The game commenced with both teams looking confident of what they got to offer while going forward.
Paris Saint-Germain had all the home advantage on their side which they made sure it counted for something good.
Desire Doue opened the goal scoring with a wonderful finish which came in the 11th minute as they carried on going forward 1-0.
It wasn’t easy for Liverpool as they continued to push for a comeback which wasn’t favorable to them as they continued being poor.
The first half ended with the home side claiming a 1-0 lead after 45 minutes of action which saw wasted opportunities and more.
Second Half Report
The match resumed with more action coming from both Champions of their respective Leagues from last season.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia doubled the advantage with a goal in the 65th minutes which was assisted by Joao Neves as it was 2-0.
Liverpool couldn’t get anything on target as they lost 2-0 against a formidable PSG side who made their opportunities count for something good.
