Manchester City thrashed Chelsea 0-3 at Stamford Bridge to narrow points on top of the Premier League table, MySportDab reports.
Pep Guardiola’s side had more pressure to get the maximum points following Arsenal loss against Bournemouth yesterday.
First Half Report
It was a fair and balanced match between both teams who looked sharp while going forward in search of a lead.
Chelsea were better than expected in the match as they matched the visitors with everything they were throwing at them as things pushed on.
For Manchester City, they had moments but they couldn’t put things together as all their efforts keep getting cut short before it results to a goal.
Both teams settled for a 0-0 scoreline as the referee signalled for the end of 45 minutes which both teams were okay with everything that was going on.
Second Half Report
Nico O’Reilly opened the scoring with a header in after a delivery from Ryan Cherki which made it 0-1 in the 51st minute.
Marc Guehi doubled the advantage with a wonderful goal through another Ryan Cherki assist which ensured it was 0-2 in the 57th minute.
Jeremy Doku scored in the 68th minute which rounded things off as Manchester City claimed a 0-3 victory against Chelsea after 90 minutes.
