Arsenal played a 0-0 draw against Sporting Lisbon to clinch the UEFA Champions League semi final ticket with a 1-0 aggregate, MySportDab reports.
The Gunners needed to make sure they finished off the job they started in Portugal with was 1-0 before they came to Emirates Stadium.
First Half Report
It was a good start which many assumed the home team to establish control and dominance due to the huge difference in quality.
Sporting Lisbon were solid on their end as they looked well organized with their defending and also how they attack.
Arsenal were in no rush knowing the team they are playing against. It was a calm match which hit the half hour mark with things staying 0-0.
There was some opportunities but not good enough to change the scoreline which remain 0-0 until things ended after 45 minutes.

The second half started off well from both teams as they push to see what they could make happen to boost their chances of qualifying.
No goal happened in the match which continued until hitting the 90th minutes mark as still nothing coming from both teams.
Arsenal failed to win but they booked their qualifications with a 1-0 aggregate against Sporting Lisbon after both legs.
