FT: Germany 2-1 Ghana, Undav Net Late WINNER! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Deniz Undav scored a late goal as Germany narrowly escaped with a 2-1 victory against Ghana, MySportDab reports.

The Black stars did well enough to hold the European giant who couldn’t score more against them all through 90 minutes.

First Half Report 

Both national teams came into this friendly match to test themselves ahead of the FIFA World Cup which is coming up later this year.

Ghana did not go down easy as they held their ground making sure they are no push over as the match progressed.

It wasn’t as expected for the Germany national team as they couldn’t find any way of making something count despite their dominance.

Kai Havertz was able to score from the penalty spot in additional time which saw the first half ended with a 1-0 scoreline.

Second Half Report 

The Black stars were very determined going into the second half which saw them pushed back and pressed.

Fatawu leveled things 1-1 with a goal in the 70th minute with an assist from Kohn with more time left to turn things around.

Deniz Undav came through with a goal in the 88th minutes after an assist from Leroy Sane which saw Germany claiming a narrow 2-1 win against Ghana.
