Anthony Gordon scored the only goal as Newcastle United beat Chelsea 0-1 at Stamford Bridge, MySportDab reports.
Liam Rosenior was hit with another loss which makes it back to back losses for the World Champions after losing against PSG.
First Half Report
The home team started well pressing with everything they had and searching for an opening goal which was very hard.
Chelsea came close on a couple of occasions with Cole Palmer getting most of the opportunities, but he couldn’t make them count.
Newcastle United broke free as Anthony Gordon scored an easy goal in the 18th minute with Joe Willock making the assist which made things 0-1.
Nothing happened as both teams pushed until they ended the first half with the scoreline staying 0-1 in favor of the Magpies who were good enough.
Second Half Report
It was end to end in the remaining 45 minutes which saw Liam Rosenior deciding to make some changes to try make a comeback.
It wasn’t happening for the Blues as they struggled to make much happen while the game carried on hitting the one hour mark.
Newcastle United held on fine until the match came to an end with them claiming a 0-1 victory against Chelsea to carry on with their fine run for the season.
