Christopher Nkunku has cleared the air concerning his transfer saga during the January window, MySportDab reports.
The player recently made his move from Chelsea to AC Milan after finding it difficult to pin regular playing time.
However, there has been talks of him expected to leave the Italian club who were linked with signing Mateta from Crystal Palace.
It was claimed the move for Mateta would have to see Nkunku leave the club and continue his playing elsewhere.
However, he has come out to clear the air concerning the situation which dragged on throughout the January window.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the comments which was made by the France international over the rumors.

“I never considered to leave AC Milan in January, no way”.
“AC Milan are the biggest club in Italy and here we want to win titles.
“I want to be here. It’s been an easy choice”, told Gazzetta dello Sport.
He never for once considered any exit as his plan remain to establish himself at AC Milan after failing with his Chelsea move.
Christopher Nkunku is currently gaining ground and scoring in Italy as he hope to regain his momentum and form he had with RB Leipzig.
