Benfica Gianluca Prestianni has stepped up to make an official statement concerning his situation with Vinicius Jnr, MySportDab reports.
The player was accused of making racist words towards the Real Madrid player. It was an eventful game between both teams last night in the UEFA Champions League.
The situation was said to have been triggered when Vinicius Jnr went ahead to celebrate in front of the home crowd flag.

For many, the celebration did not go down well with the manner in which the Real Madrid player go with it.
However, as things continued between them, Gianluca Prestianni was accused to have made a racist words which led to the match being stopped.
Following the whole situation, the Benfica player has come out to make an official statement to clarify things.
Here Is What He Said:
“I want to clarify that at no time did I direct racist insults to Vini Jr, who regrettably misunderstood what he thought he heard”.

“I was never racist with anyone and I regret the threats I received from Real Madrid players”.
The player has confirmed he never made anything of racist on Vinicius Jnr despite the claims from the Real Madrid player during the game last night.
